Come share the fun and fellowship as we each share our favorite pieces of people jewelry.   Whether elegant, sentimental or whimsical, these jool people, gathered from around the world, are a delight to behold!

Boucher Window Lady

Although this Boucher piece is smallish, it's big on personality!  I love the whimsy and detailed execution of the design and can't help but wonder if she's opening the shade in the morning, closing it for privacy, or signaling someone.

Carnegie Asian Figurals

These matching Hattie Carnegie brooches are 2½" tall, adorable and quite rare.  I love their fine details.  [Ed. note: they show a lot of personality too.]

Space Pups

Here is one of my favorites from my collection of over 80 walking-the-dog jewels.  Mostly because it is such a creative idea and surprising.  They're painted ceramic, contemporary and artisan made (dated 1991 by Taff).

Lady Bonetto Watch Pin

She's my favorite so far because she reminds me of my Grandma all dressed up for Christmas shopping.  Her bisque face is hand painted; one eye peeks sweetly from beneath her jaunty sparkly cloth hat, which is laced with rhinestone chain. Further decorated with a pearly heart, carved shell roses, and faux pearls, she strikes an elegant impression.

Reja Africana Set

These 1946 Sterling Reja 'Africana' pieces originally retailed for $36 (clip) and $17.95 (earrings).  They were my first Reja pieces so will remain in my personal collection.  To have found a set in this original condition was a thrill I still remember years later!

Robin Starling

Will Rogers

This Fenichel mechanical cowboy's hat flips back or rotates forward to cover his face, and represents a departure from their usual rhinestone or enameled pieces. From his face, hair and clothing, I believe him to be Will Rogers who was known for his wit and social commentary.  This piece is special to me because it is both beautifully made and humorous.

Scarlet O'Hara

This lovely lady is Scarlet, depicted in pot metal and rhinestones.  And, even more special, she sold several months ago to a gal who's daughter Scarlet was getting married GWTW style and she wore this as mother-of-the-bride.

Battani Chessmen

These chessmen, bishop and king, are the only pieces I've seen with the Battani mark.  They're round, like real chess pieces, so they can stand alone, yet they have pins attached on the back for wearing.

HAR Chinamen

Here are some of my favorite male companions.  I get a lot of attention when I go out with them and always enjoy their company.  These darlings were gleaned from two of the world's finest HAR collectors, Fred Kattau and Sheri Weiss, so they're extra special to me.
